At OMG Agritourism, Engr. Jun, our co-founder, together with the team, continues to draw inspiration from mentors, farmers, visionaries, and advocates who have shaped our understanding of agriculture, sustainability, tourism, and community development. Through every experience and encounter, we remain lifelong students of the land, constantly learning, listening, and growing with purpose.
The people, stories, and movements that inspire us remind us that farming goes far beyond cultivation. It is about stewardship, culture, livelihood, environmental responsibility, and creating meaningful connections between people and nature. Their wisdom has helped shape the “lens” through which we envision OMG Agritourism, a space where agriculture, education, sustainability, and authentic experiences come together.
For those who wish to learn more about this way of farming and living, we encourage exploring books, documentaries, farmers, and advocates who champion regenerative agriculture, heritage preservation, and responsible tourism. While the many perspectives and approaches can sometimes feel overwhelming, we believe every farm has its own identity, and every farmer carries a unique story and purpose.
In the end, the path you choose should reflect your values, your community, and your vision for the future. Through OMG Agritourism, we hope to inspire more people to reconnect with the land, appreciate local agriculture, and grow with intention and meaning.

The initiative began with a vision: to establish a hands-on learning environment where communities, students, and visitors could better understand sustainable aquaculture practices and ecosystem preservation.
In the heart of Narra, Palawan, we are pursuing a unique learning site and introduce sustainable aquaculture and environmental education. What started as a small transport of cultured crayfish from Northern Luzon has now grown into a thriving population numbering in the thousands, transforming OMG Agritourism into a living hub for learning, biodiversity, and regenerative farming.
The initiative began with a vision: to establish a hands-on learning environment where communities, students, and visitors could better understand sustainable aquaculture practices and ecosystem preservation. Carefully transported from Northern Luzon, the first batch of cultured crayfish arrived in Narra under controlled and monitored conditions to ensure their safe adaptation to their new environment.
At the beginning, only a limited number of crayfish were introduced into the learning ponds. The process required patience, research, and continuous observation. Through holistic and regenerative farming methods, the site focused on maintaining water quality, natural feeding systems, and a balanced ecosystem that would allow the species to thrive naturally.
Months later, the results exceeded expectations.
The once-small population steadily multiplied, eventually growing into thousands of healthy crayfish within the learning site. The success became a powerful example of how sustainable farming and environmental stewardship can work together to create long-term ecological and educational value.
Today, the site serves not only as a cultivation area but also as a platform for experiential learning. Visitors and local communities are introduced to responsible farming practices, biodiversity conservation, and the importance of creating resilient ecosystems for future generations.
More than just a farming project, the initiative reflects how innovation, sustainability, and commitment to learning can turn a simple idea into a growing movement, one that continues to inspire both environmental awareness and community development in Palawan.

How OMG Agritourism Turned Poultry Breeding into a Story of Sustainability
Over time, the farm successfully bred different varieties including Rhode Island Red, Brahma, and other hardy breeds suited for regenerative farming systems.
What began as a small purchase from a nearby local farm years ago has now grown into one of the meaningful highlights of OMG Agritourism. Through patience, natural farming practices, and a commitment to ecosystem conservation, the farm’s poultry breeding initiative has evolved into a thriving part of its 3-hectare learning site.
The journey started with only a few heritage chickens, carefully selected not only for production but also for their role in sustainable agriculture and biodiversity preservation. Over time, the farm successfully bred different varieties including Rhode Island Red, Brahma, and other hardy breeds suited for regenerative farming systems. Today, these chickens freely roam within designated farm areas, contributing naturally to soil health, pest management, and nutrient cycling.
For OMG Agritourism, the poultry program is more than livestock production. It serves as a living educational experience where visitors, students, and aspiring farmers learn the importance of responsible breeding, animal care, and ecological balance. The chickens play an important role in the farm’s regenerative ecosystem by helping fertilize the land naturally while reducing dependence on synthetic farming inputs.
The success of the breeding program also reflects the farm’s broader vision of ecosystem conservation — proving that agriculture and environmental stewardship can coexist harmoniously. By preserving heritage breeds and integrating them into sustainable farm systems, the learning site continues to demonstrate how small agricultural initiatives can create long-term positive impacts for both communities and nature.
Today, the sounds of free-ranging chickens across the property symbolize more than growth; they represent resilience, learning, and the continuous effort of OMG Agritourism to inspire a more sustainable future through agriculture, conservation, and community education.

From Lifeless Land to Living Legacy: The Story of OMG Agritourism
Malatgao, Narra, Palawan, On a 31,269 sqm piece of land once described as barren, depleted, and unproductive, a remarkable transformation has quietly taken place.
What is now known as OMG Agritourism began in 2021 with a vision to restore the land while nurturing people and communities through sustainable living. Located in the rural community of Malatgao, Narra, Palawan, the site has evolved into more than just a farm, it has become a living classroom where nature, education, and community come together.
Officially registered as a non-profit corporation and non-government organization in May 2025, following SEC approval, OMG Agritourism was founded on the belief that agriculture is not merely a source of food and livelihood. It is also a powerful tool for environmental healing, personal transformation, and community development.
A Different Way Forward
When the project began, the land bore the scars of years of degradation. The soil was exhausted, vegetation was sparse, and many considered the property unsuitable for productive farming.
Yet instead of turning to conventional agricultural methods, the founders chose a more challenging path: regenerative and permaculture-based farming practices focused on restoring soil health first.
The journey was anything but easy.
There were seasons of drought. Crops failed. Pests threatened young plants. Progress seemed slow, and success was far from guaranteed. But the team remained committed to a long-term vision, one that prioritized healing the land before harvesting from it.
"We realized that before the land could provide for us, we first had to provide for the land," became the guiding principle behind every decision made on the farm.
The Turning Point
One of the most defining moments in the farm's story came through a lesson in patience.
The first attempt to establish key crops, despite careful planting, none survived.
For many, this might have signaled defeat.
Instead, it became a learning opportunity.
The team continued rebuilding the soil using natural farming techniques and organic fertilizers. When banana seedlings were planted again, something extraordinary happened.
They thrived.
What appeared to be a simple agricultural success was, in reality, evidence of something much deeper: the soil was beginning to heal.
That single breakthrough became a powerful reminder that restoration takes time, but nature responds when given the chance.
Nature Finds Its Balance
As the years passed, the landscape gradually transformed.
Healthy soil supported diverse crops. Trees established roots. Animals became integrated into the farming system. Beneficial insects returned. What was once an exhausted piece of land slowly evolved into a balanced ecosystem capable of sustaining both plant and animal life.
Today, visitors encounter a thriving environment that stands in stark contrast to the degraded landscape that existed just a few years ago.
More importantly, they witness a living example of what regenerative agriculture can achieve.
A Classroom Without Walls
Beyond farming, OMG Agritourism serves a larger purpose.
The site functions as a non-profit learning center where individuals, students, farmers, organizations, and communities can observe, learn, and participate in sustainable practices. Every garden bed, compost pile, fruit tree, and animal enclosure tells a story of restoration and resilience.
OMG's core message is simple yet profound:
From lifeless soil to a thriving ecosystem, restoration is possible.
By openly sharing both successes and failures, OMG Agritourism hopes to inspire others to begin their own journeys toward land regeneration and sustainable living.
At its heart, OMG Agritourism exists for a purpose greater than agriculture alone.
Its mission is to heal the land and use it as a platform for education, empowerment, and transformation. Through regenerative farming, environmental stewardship, and community engagement, it demonstrates that even the most degraded landscapes can recover when guided by patience, knowledge, and care.
In a world increasingly challenged by climate change, environmental degradation, and food insecurity, the story unfolding in Malatgao offers a message of hope: that restoration is not only possible, it can begin with a single seed planted in healing soil.
And sometimes, the most extraordinary transformations start in places others have already given up on.
